What a wonderful and exciting year we have had at Community Events with the hugely successful debut of the Elizabeth Community Music & Art Festival. Over the course of the day, several thousand festival goers came and went from the grounds of the Elbert County Library in Elizabeth, Colorado. There was something for everyone - fine arts and crafts from local and regional vendors, marvelous food and drink by local vendors - and of course - the full day of incredible music of all sorts - blues, bluegrass, folk, bluegrass and good old fashioned rock and roll.
Adding to the festivities were the many fun and worthwhile activities hosted by many local community and charitable organizations - ECCO, Elbert County Libraries Foundation, Elizabeth Schools Wellness Foundation and Connections Therapeutic Riding Center.
There were many businesses and individuals who helped make the festival such a success - but our main event Sponsor - Ed Robinson of Re/Max Accord - was most instrumental. David Underwood Was a real workhorse helping get things ready.
But wait...the 2013 festival will be bigger and better than the last. So mark your calendars for August 17, 2013 for the next Elizabeth Community Music & Art Festival.

Future Events
There are lots of entertaining and educational events in the works for the future. We have been getting lots of requests for another Community Open Stage - and we promise there will be another - probably Spring 2013. We are always looking for ideas for fun, entertaining and educational events for the community - that is why we are called Community Events!
A big THANK YOU to Kimberly of Through Your Eyes Photography for the wonderful photos.
